Jingletown Open Studios: The Film

With the Jingletown Holiday Art Walk rapidly approaching, you may be wondering why you should come to Jingletown. Check out this great short film by Martin Films (in Jingletown, of course) about 2009′s Open Studios for a peek at some of our neighborhood artists, then make your plans to attend the Holiday Art Walk December 5-6th and 12-13th from 11am to 6pm (more on this to come soon).

  1. I really like what you people did with the place but being a real ex jingletowner from 1-1966 thru 8-1994
and being a decendent of former jingletowners I have to first thank you for expanding jingle town but Glasscott and ford street is not jingle town. It is the Junction. Jingletown runs from 22th ave overpass to the 29th ave overpass and from east 8th street to east 11th street. So when you call the Junction jingletown and the old locals give you a strange look I just want you to understand why. My family named and helped build the comunity. We lived in Jingletown since the very early 1900′s. My grandfather was a commercial fisherman & a bootlegger. He owned his own boat. He owned the two houses behind the La Barca market.. I am not mad or do I want to make you mad. I was a craftsman when I lived there ,aking fishing flies and lures but worked for a living at Lucasey’s Manufacturing in Jingletown. I love what your group has done for the image art is an never ending job keep up the good work.
