Starting at the 420 gallery and going through the heart of Jingletown.

Learn how Jingletown got its name.

How the art wall was started.

Who made all those little mosaic animals you see around the neighborhood.

What does the number 14 mean in the graffiti?

What is going to be built on the vacant lot by the 7/11?

Come by the 420 Gallery this Saturday and next Saturday at 1:00 and learn about a great piece of Oaklands history.

Wear comfortable walking shoes as this will be a walking tour.

Tour will be about an hour.

20.00 donations accepted.

This tour will be guided by Mariah Carle resident of Jingletown Oakland.

Hey neighbors,
Our group is meeting at the Art Wall on Peterson:
Cleaning from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Pot luck BBQ 12:00pm – Whenever….

Any musicians? Please feel free to bring instruments for the bbq afterwards.

Jingletown will be featured in this years Oakland Earth Day clean up!!!!
Lets all show up and show our city what we do.

We are in need of people with trucks that can help haul collected debris to the dumpsters.
Depending on how many neighbors show up; we would like to clean plant debris along 29th Ave, Clean trash in the Public Shore rocks, Clean up dog ‘poo’, trash and sweep behind the White Elephant, Clean under the freeway and of course pick up trash along all the streets here. We will have some gloves and tools but you may want to bring your own.
For those who don’t want to do much walking, we will need help weeding and replacing the fence at the Art Wall, help with sign in, tool inventory and setting up for the bbq after the clean. Pre Earth Day, we could use shoppers to get bbq items. I have one BBQ can anyone else bring one?

Exchange Studio neighbors, let’s not forget cleaning along 23rd Ave.
New faces are welcome, come join us for clean fun & a pot luck.
